Install using the Helium App

Download the official Helium App to set up your Helium account and wallet. Please create and note down your 12 or 24 keywords while creating your account. You will need those if you want to recover your account.

After downloading the Helium app you will need the official FinestraMiner App.

You will need to wait for 2 to 3 minutes for your FinestraMiner to boot up before starting the installation process. Please make sure that your smartphone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on before connecting your device. In addition, you will need access to your preferred Wi-Fi network in order to complete the installation.

Please open the FinestraMiner App in order to add FinestraMiner to the Helium network. Deeplink your Helium wallet with FinestraMiner App and you will be able to see Add Hotspot option.

After pressing add Hotspot, follow the steps within the app to install your FinestraMiner and connect it to the Helium Network.

Connected to Wi-Fi but not to the Internet?

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the FinestraMiner. The LED indicator light on the top of the miner should be blinking blue. If it is not blinking blue, press (do not hold) the black button twice on the side of the miner until the blue light begins to blink.
Verify that the internet is working by connecting another device, such as a laptop or cellphone. If the internet is working, try to unplug the FinestraMiner for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

If you still have trouble installing your FinestraMiner hotspot via either app or if you have additional questions about how to use your FinestraMiner hotspot, please check out our resources below.
